Today is my dad's birthday! I can't talk about how much I love my dad without getting mushy, though. For those of you that have not been blessed to know him, here are some of my favorite things about him:
- He is a devoted father.
- He is an extremely hard worker.
- He can fix anything!
- He doesn't let his eyesight (or lack thereof) slow him down.
- He loves my mom (and has since they were 16).
- He has always been very involved in my life.
- He is a grizzly bear to others, but a teddy bear to his daughters.
- He has stood up for his kids.
- He loves ice cream almost as much as me!
- He used to rock us to sleep while singing You Are My Sunshine.
- He used to let me cry on his shoulder and still lets me call him and cry over the phone.
- He adores his grandchildren!
- He is now in his 60's and still doesn't have any gray hair!
- He used to tell us the best stories about hunting snakes and nutria rats when he was a kid.
- He looks up to Brandon (literally) and thinks he is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me (which is true!).
- He loves me unconditionally!
