I'm pretty much behind in everything right now, but I'd rather get this post up late than not at all. We had a couple of invitations to spend Thanksgiving with a couple of different families, but the Bennett's got to us first and we were so excited to spend the holiday at their house. Ian was out of town, so Sheryl hosted several families all by herself. She did a fantastic job of it, too! Everyone brought their favorite dish and our plates were piled high with delicious goodness. B made some oh-so-yummy mashed potatoes and I made my homemade French Silk pie. Both were a big hit. We so enjoyed visiting with the different families that joined us and even spent some time with the kids. Little Savannah took a real shine to B. She was fascinated by his goatee, tentatively reaching out to touch it. It was adorable! Lizzy was my little buddy. She cracked me up, running up to me and asking me to take her pic (or Sheepie's pic - her toy lamb) and showing me her ballet dancing. She makes me want a little girl so badly! Anyway, here are the highlights of the day...

I finally got a turn with Savvy:
The beautiful table and delicious food:
Sheryl had this adorable turkey decoration made of a pumpkin and feathers that they each wrote what they are grateful for on. Such a cute idea!
Rolls...mmm...
This was the best fruit salad. It had Snickers in it! Ingenious!!!:

Savannah made the rounds visiting with everyone:
The Judd's brought baby Parker. Isn't he so adorable?!? Look at that funny little expression:
What a fabulous Thanksgiving! Thank you so much Bennett's for letting us share it with you!!!

It looks like you guys had so much fun. I wish that we would have been there, but we had a fun time too. If only we could eat that much food more often and get away with it. Your pics turned out really great.
We LOVED having you and Brandon over. The kids giggled seeing "their cousins" and Elizabeth loved the photo of Sheepie! Your pictures document it much better than mine and that silk pie was amazing!!
I am glad you get a little break from school.
